| With the announcement of Union Home Minister Mr.Chidambaram, Lagadapati is the first one to react and resign for his parliamentary post. Lagadapati’s resignation created a stir in Andhra and Rayalaseema region and led to the resignation of over 120 MLAs. Lagadapati played an intellegent role by keeping him self away from media and waited for the reaction of highcommand and seeing the mood of highcommand, he then started coming out in open to play active role in the Samaikya Andhra moment. Lagadapati came out in public after 3 days on 13th Dec and then announced that he is going to start his agitation for Samaikya Andhra in Hyderabad. This statement of Lagadapati put the state government in a fix and the government was forced to stop his agitation in hyderabad. Lagadapati who landed in Hyderabad Airport was surrounded by his followers and police were present in huge numbers at the Airport. Lagadapati who always turns every situation to his advantage wanted to walk from the airport with his followers so that it becomes uncontrollable for the police. Police tried to take control of the situation and took Lagadapati into their custody which was to the advantage of Lagadapati. After a sequence of activities in Hyderabad, Lagadapati gained all the mileage he wanted from the media and the state government was in a fix. Lagadapati was shifted to Vijayawada and the situation in Hyderabad was back to normal but the agitations in Andhra and Rayalaseema picked up. Many leaders in Andhra and Rayalaseema started their agitations in support of the moment and after 5 days of agitation Lagadapati was shifted to hospital on the orders of the court. Lagadapati was insisting that he should be sent back to the Diksha place or to NIMS so that he can voice out his arguement. When his plea was not sanctioned and was forced to break his fast, Lagadapati absconded from the hospital and was missing for over 15 hours reminding us of some action packed filmi sequence. After 15 hours of high drama Lagadapati landed in NIMS and shocked every one. After 24 hours Lagadapati came in front of media and announced that he is ending his fast, this is a sudden twist which no one expected and this has almost brought the entire samaikya andhra moment to a halt. Analysis: www.myshow.tk First half is full of action with Lagadapati resigning and disappearing for 3 days. Later his entry was with a bang and he was completely successful in getting momentum for the agitation. His escape from Vijayawada and entry in NIMS is a super twist in the entire moment, but the climax of he breaking his fast in this manner is very weak and is not justified. One thing is to be appreciated is that will power to reach NIMS at any cost and prove that Hyderabad is intergral part of Andhra. Questions to be Answered by Lagadapati : 1. Why did he break his fast so suddenly? If he had to break his fast today, he could have done it yesterday once he reached NIMS. 2. Why are the police to be punished for his mistake of breaking the Law |
