JOSH which happens to be the debut film of actor Naga Chaitanya, son of Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna has finally released with much speculations. The movie is a youthful entertainer with a lot of masala to attract the college going youth.

Story

Satya ( Naga Chaitanya) is a broad minded youth residing in Vishakapatnam who just has no fear of future. He freaks out with his friends and always neglects his studies and the bright future ahead. Actor Prakash raj who plays the character of a college principle, finds bright student in Satya and tries hard to reform him. But Satya throws a deaf ear to Prakash raj and his advices and continues to display his carefree attitude.

Satya is fond of bike racing and goes on bike races for fun and money sake. Prakash Raj’s son is a close friend of satya and always supports him in all his deeds. One day, Satya participates in a bike race and Prakash Raj’s son sits as a pillion rider of Satya’s bike in the race.

Unfortunately, the two meet with an accident and the pillion rider dies in the accident. However, Prakash Raj forgives satya and asks him to change atleast from then on.

Satya unable to bear the guilty feeling leaves the college life and migrates to Hyderabad from Vizag. Incidentally, the hero meets his heroine in the form of Vidya(Karthika) who is a school teacher. Soon, love blossoms in between them and the love track continues.

Meanwhile, Satya researches hard and finds that the students in Hyderabad are again repeating his care free attitude and finds out that the root cause is former student Anna (JD Chakravarthy) who supports crimes and makes crimes with the help of the young college going youth. Anna soon becomes a politician on the basis of his criminal deeds and continues his bad deeds.

Satya joins the college in order to eradicate the deeds of Anna and to reform his college mates from committing bad deeds.

Performances

Naga Chaitanya makes his debut as a hero with a JOSH in his debut film. The boyish appearing actor looks fresh and shows no signs that he is a debutant hero. He acts well and also dances well. He has to improve a bit in acting in fighting scenes and will mature as he attains experience.

Karthika, the dusky daughter of actress Radha has made her debut with this movie and has given her 100% for the school teacher character. Her body shapes and sizes are miniscule and suit the young girls of modern day.

Jd Chakravarthy plays his villainous character well and does a neat job. Prakash Raj impresses the audiences as a principle of a college.

Sunil and Brahmanandham play the roles of the comedy track and succeed in making the audiences smile.

The director Vasu has given a strong message to the college youth of this generation and has succeeded in making this movie an entertainer.

The movie is targeted only for the youth and has nothing to offer to the Family audiences.

On the whole, the JOSH is the movie which is made for the youth, by the youth and so may run a 50 day run at the box office.
